GP practices and law firms are not businesses in a traditional sense, but this does not mean in a digital world that they can get away with not having an online presence.

Your practice website is your digital face to the world – it is the foundation of any kind of marketing you do. And as people rely more heavily on search engines to find all manner of services they need, a website (and social media presence) looks likely to become the primary way of finding your practice.

2. Look at your practice through your client’s and patient’s eyes

Offering the best experience is crucial to both keeping ongoing clients and patients as well as attracting new ones, but thinking about this from their perspective is even more critical.

Ask yourself these kinds of questions:

  • How easy is it to make appointments?
  • How does the clinic present from the street? And how does it online?
  • What is the first impression when someone enters?
  • Do clients or patients need to wait long when they arrive for an appointment? What do they do while they are waiting?

Considering and addressing these kinds of questions and a raft of others about the experience could be the difference between your practice thriving or just surviving.
